Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University popularly known as CCSHAU, is one of India’s biggest agricultural universities. Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University ( CCSHAU) is a state university of Haryana . The CCSHAU is a leading agricultural research University in India and contributed significantly to Green Revolution and White Revolution in India in the 1960s and 70s. It has a very large campus spreading over 500 acres of land with 322 buildings of academic and administrative with plinth area about 40 lakhs square feet and 544 staff quarters. There are 45 boys hostel and 20 nos of hostel for women which can acomodate about more than 6000 students.
