Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University popularly known as CCSHAU, is one of India’s biggest agricultural universities. Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU) is a state university of Haryana . The CCSHAU  is a leading agricultural research University in India and contributed significantly to Green Revolution and White Revolution in India in the 1960s and 70s. It has a very large campus spreading over 500 acres of land with  322 buildings of academic and administrative with plinth area about 40 lakhs square feet and 544 staff quarters. There are 45 boys hostel and 20 nos of hostel for women which can acomodate about more than 6000 students. The CCSHAU has 12 constituent colleges in campus and many affiliated colleges in the state of Hariyana  The Chaudhary Charan Singh Agricultural University (CCSHAU) is also having student services and welfare centres in the campus like post  office, Banking, University employment and Guidance, training and placement centre and a sports complex including a Gymnasium Hall.The CCSHAU has achieved tremendous progress through quantitative expansion and qualitative improvements on various academic fronts. This has been possible by the efforts of its dedicated faculty, an efficient team of supporting staff and high quality student input.The University Presently is Offering 295 Courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Management, Science & Technology, Law, Engineering, Pharmacy and Health Science.The Colleges of Science and Commerce is the biggest constituent college in the University with 32 Departments offering 53 courses including fourteen Diploma Courses. The College of Science and Technology has 28 Departments, which offers 58 Courses including one PG Diploma. The College of Engineering has 23 Departments offering Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research Programmes.
